Chris Singer

Who Chris works with:

Chris works with a wide range of individuals, families and businesses.

Why he is suited for this type of client:

Chris has been helping clients achieve their financial planning goals since 2001 and became a certified financial planner (CFP) in 2004. His years of experience have enabled him to go beyond simply having the education required by his designation to a true understanding of the importance and value of comprehensive financial planning. Chris is not only knowledgeable and qualified; he also recognizes the need for building strong relationships with his clients. Trust and confidence in your financial planner is vital and Chris strives to create an experience that provides peace of mind along with an achievable financial plan.

What he does for clients:

Chris determines his clients’ current financial situation and helps to identify their goals, objectives and priorities. He uses this information to provide recommendations and a well-designed strategy. Chris then assists them in implementing the plan and provides ongoing reviews and revisions of the plans as circumstances require.

Chris’ comprehensive plans include retirement and estate planning, business succession, Insurance (both life and living benefits), taxation, mortgages and health and dental benefits. As he deals with a broad group of subjects, he always takes into consideration the impact a recommendation in one area could have in another.

What he does outside of work:

Chris definitely keeps himself busy with work but when he does take some free time it is usually spent outdoors on the golf course, ski slopes or the beach. He is an active member of his community and enjoys spending time with his family.

Vince Olfert

Who Vince works with:

Vince is uniquely positioned to work with business owners and families who have been diligent in building assets (a group I refer to as Asset Builders) and want to protect what they have accumulated and continue to grow it at a reasonable rate.

Why he is suited for this type of client:

He has extensive business experience. Vince began his career with a start-up local wholesale company and left the firm after having filled the role of General Manager and, over a seven-year period, growing the company by 400% and generating sales across North America. This background allows him to understand the special situations business owners encounter.

Vince's client base is made up of mainly of families that have been diligent in building their net worth and he understands the financial and emotional issues that come with building wealth.

Vince is what some people would call addicted to education. He completed his Business Administration Degree in 1996, his MBA in 2003 and the CFP in 2006. His MBA and CFP designations were completed while in the work-force which allowed him to apply his learning to practical application.

What he does for clients:

For Small Business Owners: He assists business owners in building and protecting their personal and business wealth and in supporting their employees through Group Benefits and Pension Plans.

For Asset Builders: Asset Builders receive comprehensive personal planning. This comes with initial indepth analysis and continuous personalized service and reviews. The service is built to assist Asset Building families in reaching their goals while protecting what they have built, growing it (in a cost and tax efficient way) and planning for the future.

What does he do outside of work:

Vince enjoys spending time with his family, playing baseball, serves on the board of a not-for-profit organization and is a member of the FundEX Advisor Council.

Bob is a results oriented individual who enjoys helping others in setting and prioritizing goals and working towards them. Throughout his working career he has gained extensive experience in financial, sales and client relationship roles, helping him to easily understand the needs and challenges facing his professional and business owner clients.

Through his work with families and his experience in estate settlement, Bob is able to help his clients and their families in achieving their goals while ensuring they are prepared for both the inevitable and the unexpected. Adam Bornn

Who Adam works with:

Adam works with individuals, families and small business owners in their asset building and retirement years.

Why he is suited for this type of client:

Adam has been working with this group of clients since 2006. He obtained his Certified Financial Planning (CFP) designation in 2008 and has taken ongoing education to further his ability to better serve his clients.

Since entering into the business, Adam has worked hard at making the client experience a positive one. He has done this by educating the client so that they understand the financial plan put together with them, ongoing reviews and making changes and adjustments when needed.

What he does for clients:

Adam strives to not just be the financial planner in the relationship, but the coach, quarterback and mentor. He takes the time to educate and inform you, the client, of the plan, not just implement it for you. He takes the time to understand your risks, objectives and goals on an individual basis; every client is different and Adam works hard to customize each plan to suit your needs.

Investing, Insurance (life and living benefits), Estate Planning, Retirement Planning, Business Succession, Tax Planning, Group Health Plans and Pension Plans can be very hard to understand and the majority of people don't understand any of them. If you fall into this category, you are not alone. Most people feel uncomfortable, embarrassed or shy when talking about any of the items listed above. Don't wait until it is too late to learn about these important life changing aspects of your life.

What he does outside of work:

Adam spends his free time on the golf course in the summer and on the ice rink or at the Canucks game during the winter. He is an avid sports fan and world traveller, taking a few weeks every year to travel to a foreign country to experience a different culture.
