Chris loves to make a difference in people’s lives! This is one of the most significant outcomes that has motivated him over the past 15 years – working with and building into athletes and youth through sport – providing coaching and mentorship that they might grow not only in their athletic performance, but also in their ability to make wise decisions on and off the ice.
It is this same motivation that provides the foundation of his efforts to serve the people he works with now – young families, business owners, and individual clients. His extensive experience as a leader in the non-profit sports arena has prepared Chris well to serve the needs of his clients now in financial planning. Chris works closely with his clients to assess their current situation, address current needs, set attainable and measurable goals for the future, and ensure a clear strategy is in place to see these goals realized.
Investments, Insurance (life and living benefits), Retirement Planning, Estate Planning and Tax Saving Strategies are all areas that Chris seeks to bring value for his clients. Bringing all these areas together for a client can save time and money, and provide peace of mind.
Having completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA), Chris went on to complete his Canadian Investment Funds License (IFIC), as well as his Life, Accident and Sickness Insurance License (LLQP), in the fall of 2014. Chris continues to pursue ongoing education as he works alongside his clients, aiming to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and his CFP designation in 2018.
Chris is married to Serenity, and they are proud parents of Moriah, Caedmon and Malia. In addition to spending time with his family, Chris also enjoys coaching (TWU Men’s Hockey) and playing golf when he can.
